Artist's Studio - Still Life

A personal project to learn detailed sculpting and shading techniques to create bespoke textures and models.

I was reviewing my portfolio, and found that there were two things I wanted to focus on for my next project: I wanted to achieve more detail & realism and I felt I pushed the colours too far in most of my work. So I wanted to approach a new project with these things in mind – to create a series of highly detailed vignettes allowing me to focus on the things I wanted to improve. Whilst maintaining a muted/neutral colour palette when it came to the interior design and dressing.

A good opportunity to learn detailed sculpting in Zbrush and create detailed & bespoke maps and models. 

software used: 3DS Max, Vray, Growfx, zbrush
