I produced these images for a 7 page article I wrote for 3D World magazine. The building is a re-creation of Refuge by Wim Goes Architectuur which I find to be a really nice piece of considered architecture and I instantly wanted to explore it in 3D. It was a really quick and enjoyable project, and a good opportunity to brush up on modelling vegetation all of which was created using Growfx. Learning a plugin like Growfx has been extremely valuable, should a client ask for a specific species I now have the ability to create these models from scratch rather than hack together geometry from readily available models – allowing for much more accuracy.
